Well, hello there! My name is Heidi, nice to meet you, and thank you for stopping by!
I’m a voraciously curious Type-A with a competitive streak. Nothing pleases me more than making with these two hands, and that includes everything from crochet to cooking to gardening. I do believe this whole thing started in Brownie Scouts, where I earned so many badges that I had to get the auxiliary badge books.
And then I earned all those, too . . .
I grew up on the west coast of Wisconsin (very close to The World’s Largest Six-Pack), stayed there long enough to get my BFA, and then promptly moved to the east coast of Minnesota. We share our home with Penny the (boy) Cat and our new twin babies, Arlo and Everly. So here we are: arting, crafting, music-making (Nicky), dancing (horribly – me), and l-i-v-i-n.
I believe handmade is best, life is for learning new things, crochet can count as meditation, and that few things feel as good as DIYDS (Doing It Your Dang Self).
You too? Awesome – let’s be friends!
